The good and the bad use of technology in Public Relations

The world is chanching and the use of technology is also changing. Everyday people use technology in their daily lives, we can see it on tv, on our computers, on cell phones and electronic devices in general but it depends on what we give to the technology for use or misuse.

In public relations use of technology is very important since through various technological means can communicate with many people in different places.

An excellent example of the good use of technology is that through the internet you can gather information for research as our profession is very research.

Another good use of technology is that we can communicate with many people in different parts of the world an example are the meetings through videos calls "video conferencias" which is very convenient as it saves time and money on travel.

On the other hand there is also a misuse of technology since the relationship with people is very important in our profession and we must maintain that relationship over time but with the use of technologies that relationship has been lost in time, face to face every day is less common.

That is why we do our best to do our work and use technology as our best tool, with them we have a total failure or success of our lives.

Orlita Romero Gómez. The Bride of the General Cemetery

There are many urban versions  about the death of this Chilean bride, one is that while she was getting married she rolled down the stairs of the (altar), another says that she died  of a heart attack  during the wedding, and finally that she died of grief  because her fiance never came to the altar so everybody  says that she stiil is wandering to look for  her love.

However, the official version of her death is different, Orlita dies of a heart attack on April 13, 1947 when she was 17. Her mother  very sad and affected for her death command to embalm her to preserve her beauty and dressed her with  a white dress as a symbol of purity.

The sad mother every sundays used to comb the hair of the deceased . At first she was in a glass case, but for obvious reasons, over the years her image has deteriorated.

Currently, Orlita is in the same chapel. the iron door had a glass and there you could see inside including her urn, Nowadays there is a curtain that hide inside an the glass has been broken by the people who leave insie little notes, ties, cards, notebooks, etc. The lovers leave their names written in papers to orlita keep their union forever clearly, has become in (animita) for lovers and also for the unfortunate who wish that their luck in love change.

"The Caleuche"

The Caleuche leyend says is a ship that sails and roam the seas of Chiloé and southern channels.

It is manned by powerful witches and on dark nights is brightly lit.

In their sailings, aboard constantly listening to music. Hidden in a dense fog, which he produces. Navigates never daylight.

If by chance a person, other than witch is about the Caleuche becomes a simple floating tree, and if the individual attempts to take over the tree, it recedes. Other times it becomes a rock or any other object and becomes invisible.

Her crew become lions or waterfowl.

They report that the crew have to walk on one leg and the other is folded back, so go by leaps and bounds. They are all idiots and forgetful, to ensure secrecy of what goes on board. At Caleuche, not look at it, because the crew punish those who look at them, turning the twisted mouth, head back or killing him suddenly, by witchcraft. Whoever wants to watch the ship and not suffer the punishment of the twist, you should try the crew do not realize.

This vessel sailing near the coast and when a person takes over, takes her to visit cities of the sea and brings immense treasures, inviting her to join them on the sole condition of not disclosing what he has seen. If it did so, the crew of Caleuche, kill him at the first opportunity to return to meet him. When Caleuche need repair its hull or machinery, preferably chosen ravines and cliffs, and there, late at night, it should work.
